This might sound hypocritical, but fucking this. I have tried to find my own art style, still am. It is so goddamn HARD. When I was little my father and I watched Sailor Moon, Ghost in the Shell, Tenshi Muyo, Inuyasha and so much more together. It was all I was taught, because it was all I knew. And I don’t think people are weaboos or whatever for drawing in the anime/manga style, but I hate it when you get classified as one for doing so. I know who I am and it’s not that, I put a lot of passion into my art and to get it classified as ‘Stupid anime desu shit’ miffs me. /end rant.
